Q: Do you have other dates?
A: YES! I’ll be happy to check alternate dates. I am highlighting those with the maximum value. Dates & rates go together and can mean a lower discount – $500 or $750 instead of $1,000.
Q: Do you expect better deals later?
A: NO. Travel companies are eager to get back to business & offering deals in the short term. Once they expire, there is no rollback. It’s better to hold something desirable with a deposit than risk losing out because you waited too long.

Q: What are “tv brands”?
A: That is my term for travel companies that advertise widely to the general public. For ex, Carnival’s Fun Ships, Royal Caribbean’s Mega Ships, Norwegian Cruise line’s Freestyle Ships & Viking’s PBS tv commercials. I’m sure you’ve seen them pop up in your social media feed now. They are recognizable but generic, not necessarily the best fit. And none are my top picks. ask me about the many other choices for discerning travelers.
